Vivo Y56 5G Specs & Design Leaked Ahead of Launch

In India Vivo recently introduced the Y56 5G midrange smartphone. The Dimensity 900 chipset powers the product which is aimed at the sub 25000 market. The Vivo Y 56 a budget friendly 5G smartphone will now be available in India.
The company has not said anything about the device yet but insiders paras Guglani has some juicy information about the Y56 5G. in a now deleted tweet paras Via said that the Y56 5G will have a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. This MediaTek entry level 5G chipset has a 2200 MHz frequency and an octa core processor.
Guglani claims that the Y56 5G will have 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. A substantial 5000mAh battery will power it and 18W fast charging will be supported. On the back of the Y56 5G there will be a dual camera setup. Guglani shared an image showing two circular camera cutouts and LED flash. The phone will have primary camera with 13 MP and a secondary camera with 2MP. The resolution of the front facing camera will be 5 megapixels.
A Poster with the devise design has been shared in another tweet. The Y56 5G frame will be flat and the phones volume rocker will be visible on the right side. The Power button is expected to be below the volume rocker. the device will be available at launch in a Gold color with Vivo possibly offering additional color options.
The phone will have an HD screen resolution and a 6.56 inch display with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. The standard refresh rate will be 60 Hz. The Y56 5G is expected to launch with Android 12 and will likely have Funtouch OS 12 as its custom user interface despite the fact that Android 13 has been available for some time.

Cons:
1. No5G: The phone does not support 5G connectivity.
2. Heavyweight: The phone weights around 190 grams which may feel heavy to some users.
3. No AMOLED display: The phone dose not have an AMOLED display which may disappoint users who prefer deeper blacks and more vibrant colors.
4. No fast charging: The phone supports 18W charging which is not as fast as some of its competitors.
5. No water or dust resistance: The phone does not have any IP rating for water or dust resistance.
